Powerwall Post-Installation

After installation, we will arrange an inspection with your local building department to certify that your Powerwall is safely and properly installed. If your system includes a Powerwall 3 or Powerwall+, it will be activated after installation.

How to Start Using the Tesla App

Once your Powerwall has been turned on, download the Tesla app and start monitoring your Powerwall and home energy usage.

Sign In

Sign in using the same email address you used to order Powerwall with solar. If you are a Tesla vehicle owner, use the same email address to sign in to your Tesla Account.

Set Up Notifications

To enable notifications for your energy system, follow these steps:

  1. Tap the menu in the top-right corner.
  2. Tap your name > ‘Notifications.’
  3. Select ‘Energy Products’ to enable and disable notifications.
