Receive $500 for Your Powerwall
The $500 rebate offer ended October 31, 2023. Qualifying customers can submit the request for the rebate in the Tesla app. Requests for rebates must be completed by November 30, 2023.
Store your solar energy for use at night and for backup protection with Powerwall so when the grid goes down, your power stays on. Powerwall is a rechargeable home battery system, designed to maximize your home’s energy independence.
Customers who install and register their Powerwall(s) between June 15, 2023, and October 31, 2023, will receive a $500 rebate for each Powerwall. You can install a single Powerwall or multiple Powerwalls. You can also bundle your Powerwalls with solar panels or Solar Roof. After your Powerwall(s) have been installed, connected to the internet and registered, you can submit your rebate request in the Tesla app. Once confirmed, Tesla will send you a check of $500 for each Powerwall.
Note: Only Powerwall 2 and Powerwall+ are eligible for this offer.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this offer, you must:
- Install Powerwall(s) between June 15, 2023, and October 31, 2023
- Have ordered Powerwall(s) from Tesla or Tesla Certified Installers
- Connect your Powerwall(s) to the Internet and register your Powerwall(s)
- Submit your rebate request in the Tesla app
If Tesla does not ship to or provide service in your area directly, you can order and install your Powerwall with a Tesla Certified Installer.

Review the full eligibility for the rebate. Install Powerwall(s) between June 15, 2023, and October 31, 2023. Once your Powerwalls are registered and connected to the Internet, claim the rebate in the Tesla app. From the energy system home screen, select ‘Support’ > ‘Powerwall Rebate.’ You will need to provide and confirm details related to the order and installation.
Note: Tesla withholds the right to reject rebates for any customers not in good standing.

Qualifying customers can submit the request for the rebate in the Tesla app. Requests for rebates must be completed by November 30, 2023.

Once you’ve submitted your request in the Tesla app, the rebate will be processed and sent within 60 days.

Currently, customers in Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam and Saipan are eligible for the rebate.

Changes to your installation date will impact your eligibility for the rebate. Installations that occur after October 31, 2023, will not qualify for the rebate. Your Powerwall(s) will need to be registered and connected to the Internet by October 31, 2023, to qualify for the rebate.
