Troubleshooting Your Powerwall
If you received a ‘Powerwall Disconnected’ alert, identify your situation below and follow the applicable instructions.

Incomplete installation | Wait for your installer to finish your installation |
Your Powerwall breaker was accidentally left open | Contact your Powerwall installer or follow the instructions below to close your breaker. If Tesla is your installer, contact us. |
You have intentionally opened your Powerwall breaker | We do not recommend opening your Powerwall breaker. If you do so for any reason, remember to close it by following the instructions below or it will not operate |
Unusual behaviour such as repeated breaker trips, discolouration on the wiring, breaker or conduit or unusual odours | Contact your Powerwall installer. If Tesla is your installer, contact us. |
Closing Your Powerwall Breaker
Step 1: Locate the distribution board or gateway that your Powerwall is connected to.
Step 2: Switch the Powerwall Breaker back to the “on” or “closed” position. The Powerwall Breaker can be typically found at the bottom of your distribution board or gateway and is labeled “Battery” or “Powerwall.”
