Wall Connector

Wall Connector is an efficient and convenient home charging solution that lets you plug your vehicle in overnight and start your day fully charged. To purchase a Wall Connector, visit your nearest Service Center.

Wall Connector Features

Speed

Wall Connector can provide up to 11 kW output. For Tesla vehicles, Wall Connector provides up to 65 kilometers of range per hour of charge. For other electric vehicles, refer to your vehicle manufacturer’s guidance to determine your charging speed.

Vehicle Compatibility

Wall Connector is compatible with most electric vehicles including Tesla vehicles and other electric vehicles. Make sure the Wall Connector you are purchasing has a plug that matches the charging inlet on your electric vehicle.

Convenience

Wall Connector can adapt to most home electrical systems, with customizable power levels on a range of circuit breakers. This versatility allows installation in most homes, apartments, condos and workplaces.

Tesla App

Set up your Wall Connector in the Tesla app and connect it to a local Wi-Fi network to control, schedule and get data on your Wall Connector. Firmware updates will be automatically sent to the Wall Connector to improve the user experience and introduce new features. Installers can complete the commissioning process in the Tesla One app, including selecting circuit breaker settings, configuring power sharing and connecting to Wi-Fi.

Warranty

The warranty for normal residential use of a Wall Connector covers your Wall Connector for a period of 48 months from the date of invoice. The warranty for normal commercial use of a Wall Connector covers your Wall Connector for a period of 12 months from the date of invoice.

Commercial Use and Billing

Property managers, developers and commercial real estate owners can join our growing network of Charging Partners by offering on-site EV charging. Install Wall Connectors as a public or private amenity to benefit from pay-per-use functionality and 24/7 remote monitoring while attracting customers with EV charging.

Power Sharing

Power sharing is ideal for households that need to charge more than one electric vehicle at the same time, but may not have enough power for multiple electrical circuits. This functionality allows up to six Wall Connectors to share power from one circuit while still allowing your vehicles to receive a sufficient charge.

Indoor/Outdoor Compatible

Wall Connector’s lightweight design allows for versatile, indoor or outdoor mounting.

Vehicle Charging Speeds

For the fastest home charging, install Wall Connector with a circuit breaker that matches your vehicle’s onboard charger capabilities. To view the max amperage of your Tesla vehicle, tap the lightning bolt icon on the touchscreen. To determine the max amperage of your electric vehicle, refer to your vehicle manufacturer’s guidance.

For unique power situations or when power may be limited, Wall Connector can also be installed with lower amperage circuit breakers to support almost any existing electrical system.

Refer to the following table for Tesla vehicle charging speeds for each power level option:
