Powerwall & the Grid
When Powerwall is installed without solar, it can charge from the grid with Backup Reserve or if Time-Based Control mode is enabled to support you during grid outages and to help you save money on your electricity bill.
Powerwall & Other Renewable Energy Sources
If installed outside the backup circuits, Powerwall can also charge from other renewable energy sources like wind, hydro and co-generation.
Powerwall & Electric Vehicle Charging
In addition to home appliances, Powerwall can provide stored solar energy to your electric vehicle through your home's distribution panel.
