Tesla Delivery Day
Your delivery experience should be simple and easy. Before taking delivery, be sure you’ve taken all the necessary steps.
Review and Confirm Delivery
After placing your order, sign in to your Tesla Account to confirm your delivery details. This information is required to move your delivery forward.
Details may include:
- Delivery options
- Delivery location
- Registration (personal or business*)
- Trade-in
- Payment method
*Business registration requires additional business documents for delivery. To set up business registration, you’ll need to contact your Tesla Advisor.
Delivery Documents and Final Payment
Before your delivery appointment, verify your delivery details and complete all the steps in your Tesla Account. You must have all required documents with you when you take delivery of your vehicle.
Tesla App
Before your delivery appointment, download the Tesla app to access our video tutorials and support resources. Your vehicle will automatically pair to the app on delivery day.
You can also sign up for a live virtual education session where you’ll learn more about your vehicle and its features.
Delivery Scheduling
Once your vehicle is available, we will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. Vehicle availability varies based on many factors, including production, logistics and timely completion of your delivery tasks.
Note: The delivery dates provided to you indicate when your vehicle can be delivered. We cannot deviate from the delivery schedule or change the dates.
Delivery Options
We provide different delivery options depending on the schedule availability of the delivery location. To change your delivery location or schedule for a different date, contact your local delivery center.
Documents and Ownership Information
Documents required at your delivery appointment may include:
- Final payment
- Driver’s license(s)
- Auto insurance
- Trade-in ownership documents
Note: Final payment requirements vary based on location and purchase method. Any amount due is to be paid by bank draft/certified cheque made out to Tesla Motors Canada ULC or by wire transfer with a wire receipt.
