Electric Vehicle Incentives

• For individuals: Up to $4,000 in incentives, on an income-tested basis, for qualified individuals when the vehicle purchased is published on the provincial eligible vehicle list, with a base MSRP under $50,000 for passenger cars and SUVs. The onus is entirely on the customer to pre-apply for incentives via the BC government website, to receive the required paperwork from government prior to delivery, and to notify your delivery advisor well in advance of your delivery date, or the incentive cannot be applied to your purchase. Deliveries of vehicles cannot be delayed pending government paperwork. Additional rules apply. Learn more.
• For businesses and organizations:
  • Up to $3,000 rebate for cars and SUVs with a base price (MSRP¹) under $50,000. A minimum 36-month lease term is required to receive full rebate. Lease rebates can be received on a pro-rated basis for 12-month or 24-month leases. Learn more.
  • Up to $10,000 incentive on eligible commercial pick-up trucks with a bed length of at least 72 inches. Eligible commercial trucks must be leased for a minimum of 36 months to receive a rebate. Learn more.
• Carpool lane access (for eligible vehicles displaying a government-issued EV decal).
• Up to $350 towards the cost of eligible charging equipment and installation, including the Tesla Wall Connector when installed in private houses.

• Up to $4,000 rebate for vehicles with a base price (MSRP¹) under $65,000. The vehicle must be registered no later than December 31, 2024. Learn more.
  • As of January 1, 2026, the maximum rebate for an all-electric vehicle will be $2,000.
  • The program will end on December 31, 2026.
  Note: The program will be temporarily suspended as of February 1, 2025. To be eligible for the $4,000 rebate, the vehicle must be registered no later than January 31, 2025.
• Carpool lane access (Green Plate required).
• Toll exemption for electric vehicles on highway 25 and 30 (transponder required).
• Up to $600 rebate on Wall Connector and installation.

To qualify, the vehicle must also appear on the government’s list of eligible new vehicles. All incentive programs, timings and rules are subject to change by government at any time. Delays sometimes exist in updating the list during model-year transitions and when incentive programs are modified.

• Up to $4,000 rebate for eligible customers and vehicles priced with an MSRP¹ below $70,000.
• Up to $4,000 on leases, pro-rated. A minimum of a 12-month lease period is required to retain the rebate. If the lease is canceled before 12 months, the applicant must return the rebate to Manitoba Public Insurance.
• Qualifying new Tesla vehicles purchased/leased and from out of province are now eligible.
  Note: New Tesla vehicles with a maximum MSRP of $70,000 purchased outside of Manitoba between August 1, 2023 and May 2, 2024 also qualify.
• Only one incentive per registered electric vehicle owner and vehicle.
• The government plans to maintain this rebate on deliveries made until March 31, 2026. As with all government incentives, they are subject to change by government at any time.

• Up to $5,000 rebate for any vehicle that appears on the federal list of eligible vehicles:
  • Cars with an MSRP¹ under $55,000. Higher priced trims of these vehicles, up to a maximum MSRP of $65,000, may also be eligible for purchase incentives;
  • Station Wagon, SUV, Trucks with an MSRP under $60,000. Higher priced trims of these vehicles, up to a maximum MSRP of $70,000, may also be eligible for purchase incentives.
• Individuals may only obtain one EV rebate per 12-month period. Businesses and organizations may obtain up to 10 incentives per 12-month period.

• Up to $3,000 rebate for any vehicle that appears on the federal list of eligible vehicles:
  • Cars with an MSRP¹ under $55,000. Higher priced trims of these vehicles, up to a maximum MSRP of $65,000, may also be eligible for purchase incentives;
  • Station Wagon, SUV, Trucks with an MSRP under $60,000. Higher priced trims of these vehicles, up to a maximum MSRP of $70,000, may also be eligible for purchase incentives.
• Individuals may only obtain one EV rebate per calendar year. There is no limit on provincial incentives for businesses and organizations. Learn more.

• Up to $5,750 rebate for any vehicle that appears on the federal list of eligible vehicles:
  • Cars with an MSRP¹ under $55,000. Higher priced trims of these vehicles, up to a maximum MSRP of $65,000, may also be eligible for purchase incentives;
  • Station Wagon, SUV, Trucks with an MSRP under $60,000. Higher priced trims of these vehicles, up to a maximum MSRP of $70,000, may also be eligible for purchase incentives.
• Individuals may only obtain one EV incentive per 12-month period. Businesses and organizations may obtain up to 5 incentives per 12-month period. Learn more.

• Up to $5,000 for new electric light-duty passenger vehicles. Learn more.
• Up to $5,000 on 36-month leases; rebates are pro-rated for shorter leases. A minimum of a 12-month lease period is required to retain the rebate.
• Yukon residents are eligible for two rebates during the lifetime of the program. Organizations and businesses registered in Yukon are eligible for up to 10 rebates per calendar year. This includes First Nation governments and municipal governments.
• Up to $1,500 rebate on Wall Connector and installation when installed in a private residence (up to 50% of purchase and installation costs).
