How to View and Request Your 2023 IRA Clean Vehicle Report

Your 2023 Clean Vehicle Report (IRS Form 15400) is available by request through your Tesla Account. You will need this document to claim your 2023 EV tax credit.

To access and download your Clean Vehicle Report, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Tesla Account.
  2. Next to your eligible vehicle, select ‘Manage.’
  3. Select ‘Documents’ > ‘IRA Clean Vehicle Credit Report.’

If a Clean Vehicle Report is not available in your account or you need to make adjustments such as the name or Social Security number on the document, follow these steps:

  1. Go to tesla.com/contactus.
  2. Under the ‘Ask a Question on Web’ section, select ‘Sign In.’
  3. Sign in using your Tesla Account email and password associated with the eligible vehicle.
  4. From the dropdown, select ‘Generate 2023 IRA Document.’
  5. Complete the form.
  6. Tap ‘Submit.’

Your Clean Vehicle Report document will be available in your Tesla Account 24 hours after you submit your request.
