Wall Connector is an efficient and convenient home charging solution that lets you plug your vehicle in overnight and start your day fully charged. Visit the Tesla Shop to purchase a Wall Connector and any additional parts.
Speed
Wall Connector can provide up to 11.5 kW / 48 amp output. For Tesla vehicles, Wall Connector provides up to 44 miles of range per hour of charge. For other electric vehicles, refer to your vehicle manufacturer’s guidance to determine your charging speed.
Vehicle Compatibility
Wall Connector is compatible with most electric vehicles including Tesla vehicles and other electric vehicles. Make sure the Wall Connector you are purchasing has a plug that matches the charging inlet on your electric vehicle.
Convenience
Wall Connector can adapt to most home electrical systems using its Power Management features. This versatility allows installation in most homes, apartments, condos and workplaces.
Tesla Apps
Set up your Wall Connector in the Tesla app and connect it to a local Wi-Fi network to control, schedule and get data on your Wall Connector. Firmware updates will be automatically sent to the Wall Connector to improve the user experience and introduce new features. Installers can complete the commissioning process in the Tesla One app.
Warranty
The warranty for normal residential use of a Wall Connector covers your Wall Connector for a period of 48 months from the date of invoice. The warranty for normal commercial use of a Wall Connector covers your Wall Connector for a period of 12 months from the date of invoice.
Commercial Use and Billing
Property managers, developers and commercial real estate owners can join our growing network of Charging Partners by offering on-site EV charging. Install Wall Connectors as a public or private amenity to benefit from pay-per-use functionality and 24/7 remote monitoring while attracting customers with EV charging.
Access Control
Charging Access Control gives you full control over which vehicles are allowed to charge with your Wall Connector. You can restrict charging access directly through the commissioning wizard without having to resort to a physical locking device. This functionality is limited to Tesla vehicles.
Indoor/Outdoor Compatible
Wall Connector’s lightweight design allows for versatile, indoor or outdoor mounting.
For the fastest home charging, install Wall Connector with a circuit breaker that matches your vehicle’s onboard charger capabilities. To view the max amperage of your Tesla vehicle, tap the lightning bolt icon on the touchscreen. To determine the max amperage of your electric vehicle, refer to your vehicle manufacturer’s guidance.
For unique power situations or when power may be limited, Wall Connector can also be installed with lower amperage circuit breakers to support almost any existing electrical system.
