Demo Drive

Schedule a demo drive appointment to enhance your Tesla experience. While we can sometimes accommodate walk-ins, appointments are limited so we encourage you to schedule in advance.

Note: Our first priority on a drive is the safety of our customers and staff. We reserve the right to end a demo drive for any reason.

You can schedule a demo drive appointment online and before the appointment, a Tesla Advisor will contact you to confirm your appointment. You must be 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license to drive.

If you don't live close to a Tesla site that offers demo drives, you can schedule a self-serve demo drive, which allows you to experience a Tesla vehicle on your own terms at a nearby location. You must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license for a self-serve demo drive. 

Tesla also occasionally hosts demo drive events. Discover local events to find regional demo drives near you.

Plan to arrive 10 minutes before your drive. Upon arrival, a Tesla Advisor will check you in, ensure we have all required documents and route you to your vehicle. Demo drives are approximately 30 minutes and will give you the opportunity to enjoy the unique capabilities and performance of a Tesla vehicle.

The Tesla vehicle is equipped with some features such as Full Self-Driving (Supervised), Actually Smart Summon, Autopilot and Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control (Beta).

Note: Features of the Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and Autopilot packages do not make the vehicle autonomous and active driver supervision is required at all times. The driver is always responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle. Use of these features is voluntary and subject to availability in your region. You can disable the features at any time from the vehicle touchscreen by tapping 'Controls' > 'Autopilot.' Learn more about Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and Autopilot prior to your demo drive.
