How to Schedule a Service Appointment
In the Tesla app, you can schedule and manage your service appointments, view and approve estimates and review your vehicle’s service history.
To schedule a service appointment in the Tesla app, follow these steps:
- Open the Tesla app.
- Tap ‘Service.’
- Tap ‘Request Service.’
- Select a support topic and describe your concern.
- Follow the on-screen prompts.
- If your concern requires a service appointment, you will need to provide additional information such as the date, time and type of service appointment you’d like. If your concern does not require a service appointment, you will be provided with troubleshooting steps.
After you schedule your service appointment, you’ll need to prepare for your Service Center visit.
Once you have scheduled your service appointment, you can add services by following these steps:
- Open the Tesla app.
- Tap ‘Service.’
- Tap the date of your upcoming service appointment.
- Under the date and time of your appointment, tap ‘View Details.’
- Tap ‘Services.’
- Tap ‘Add Another Concern.’
- Select a support topic and describe your concern.
Note: Additional concerns can impact your existing appointment date and time.
Once you have scheduled your service appointment, you can message your local Service team by following these steps:
- Open the Tesla app.
- Tap ‘Service.’
- Tap ‘Messages.’
- Send and receive messages from the Service team.
To cancel an upcoming Tesla vehicle service appointment, follow these steps:
- Open the Tesla app.
- Tap ‘Service.’
- Tap the date of your upcoming service appointment.
- Under the date and time of your appointment, tap ‘View Details.’
- Tap ‘Cancel Request.’
The types of service appointments available depend on what service is needed. Some services can only be performed at a Service Center. If you are unsure if the requested service will require a Service Center visit, contact your local Tesla Service Center.
To change or reschedule your Tesla vehicle service appointment, follow these steps:
- Open the Tesla app.
- Tap ‘Service.’
- Tap the date of your upcoming service appointment.
- Under the date and time of your appointment, tap ‘View Details.’
- Tap ‘Reschedule.’
If you don’t see your appointment in the Tesla app, your appointment may have been canceled by the Service team. If you don’t see any updates in your messages in the Tesla app, contact the Service team.
