Taking Delivery

Taking delivery of your new Tesla vehicle is a quick and easy experience. With Tesla Tutorial videos available right on your touchscreen, you can learn about the features and functions of your vehicle from the driver’s seat.

After placing your order, sign in to your Tesla Account to complete the required pre-delivery tasks. The latest updates on delivery timing, VIN assignment and appointment details will be available in your Tesla Account.

Depending on location and eligibility, your vehicle will be available for pickup at a delivery centre or delivered to your location. Your delivery timing may change based on many factors including logistics and completion of your pre-delivery tasks.

Before your delivery appointment, download the Tesla app to access our video tutorials and support resources. Your Tesla vehicle will automatically pair to the app on delivery day.

Express Delivery Steps

1. Finalise payment 48 hours prior to your appointment.
2. Accept delivery in the Tesla app.
3. Unlock and access your vehicle through the Tesla app.

Express Delivery is available at all Tesla delivery centres.

Take delivery from a third-party carrier.

This option is available for customers who live more than 250 kilometres from the nearest Tesla delivery location. These deliveries are performed by independent third-party carriers. For faster delivery, we recommend taking delivery at a Tesla location.

We will provide an estimated delivery timeline, with the exact delivery date to be confirmed by the third-party carrier once final payment is received and your vehicle is in transit.

Before Carrier Pickup

1. Sign and return any applicable financing, leasing or trade-in documents. We will coordinate a third-party carrier pickup once we receive your payment and signed documents.
2. If you have a trade-in, prepare it for pickup.
3. You will receive an estimated delivery date from us, which will be confirmed by the third-party carrier once your vehicle is in transit to your location.

Delivery Day

1. You will receive a delivery timing update from the third-party carrier.
2. Accept delivery of your vehicle in the Tesla app.
3. Unlock and access your vehicle through the Tesla app.

Delivery timing estimates are subject to change, and your Tesla Account will always reflect the latest details.
