Exact feature availability may vary based on car configuration and location.

Cuphead – Tesla Edition

Enjoy this classic run-and-gun action game inspired by 1930s cartoons. For the Tesla Edition, explore Isle 1 as Cuphead or Mugman in single player or local co-op. Navigate strange worlds, acquire new weapons, learn powerful super moves and discover hidden secrets on the road.

As with all Tesla Arcade games, your car must be in PARK to play. To access, tap the Application Launcher > Entertainment > Tesla Arcade > Cuphead. A USB game controller is required.

Tesla Theater

Experience the most fun you'll ever have while parked with your favorite movies, TV shows and videos. With the new Tesla Tutorials section, answer your questions with simple videos and easy step-by-step instructions. To launch, tap the Application Launcher > Entertainment > Tesla Theater.

Caraoke

Sing along to your favorite songs and watch backseat drivers become backup singers with Caraoke. To launch, select Caraoke from the Media menu. Tap the microphone icon to add or remove the vocal track.

Driving Visualization

Enjoy an improved 360 view around your car — a more dynamic interface recognizes and displays a wider variety of objects and lane lines. Since driving visualization is on the touchscreen in Model 3, you can also drag and pinch the display to temporarily adjust view angle and zoom. After a short period of inactivity, the visualization will return to the default position.

Automatic Lane Change

We’ve provided more insight into where your car is planning to move when Automatic Lane Change is initiated. Now, the adjacent lane is highlighted blue and the target destination is outlined in white.

Feeling Lucky or Feeling Hungry?

Buckle up. One tap will send you on a surprise adventure to a local restaurant or nearby attraction. To launch, tap Navigate > Lucky or Hungry. Learn more about your destination from a pop-up window, including a website link if available.

Maps Improvements

With improved maps, it’s easier than ever to discover and navigate from your touchscreen. When searching for a destination, the autocomplete search function now includes distance. Also, you can now directly tap the labels on the map to quickly view the associated place details and navigate.

Mobile App

You can now do even more with your car from your Tesla app:

  • View your software update download and installation progress
  • Share video links to the Tesla Theater for supported theater sources
  • Open and close your garage door — a HomeLink button now appears if your car has a programmed HomeLink connection
  • Additional window controls for Model 3 and Model X

Note: These features require mobile software version 3.10.0 or above.

Dashcam Improvements

In addition to the narrow forward camera and side cameras, Dashcam can now record and store footage from your rear-facing camera.

Sentry Mode Improvements

Sentry Mode video clips are now saved in a separate folder on your USB drive to make them easier to review and manage. Also, your oldest Sentry Mode video clips will now be automatically deleted if there is not enough space on the USB drive and Sentry Mode clips are using more than 5GB of space.

Joe Mode

This was Joe’s idea. He comes from the Internet. Reduce chime volume to minimize disruption for passengers in the rear seats (i.e. Joe's kids) while maintaining an effective alert volume for the driver. To enable Joe Mode, tap Controls > Safety & Security > Joe Mode.

Software Update Improvements

The software update dialogue box has been redesigned for an improved look and feel. You can now view which software update version is being downloaded and installed as well as the installation progress when the touchscreen is on.

Bluetooth Media Improvements

When playing media from a connected Bluetooth device you can now browse playlists directly from the touchscreen. Bluetooth streaming has also been improved to display album art from your device and support a 48 kHz sampling rate for better audio quality.

Note: Behavior and performance will vary depending on mobile device and app. For album art integration with iPhones, iOS 13 is required.

Application Launcher

Access all your apps in one place with the new Application Launcher. The updated menu offers easy access and a streamlined user experience. We have also replaced the Tesla Arcade with Tesla Entertainment.

Driver Profile

Your driver profile now saves additional settings. When a setting is saved to your selected profile, you’ll see a confirmation in the status bar at the top of your touchscreen.
