When purchasing service-installed vehicle accessories, you will be asked to sign in to your Tesla Account and select your vehicle's VIN (vehicle identification number).

If you recently purchased a vehicle, make sure your VIN is visible within your Tesla Account prior to purchasing a service-installed vehicle accessory.

Note: You must have a VIN to purchase service-installed vehicle accessories.

A service-installed vehicle accessory requires Tesla Service installation.

Examples of service-installed vehicle accessories include:

Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y Wheel and Tire Packages.

Model S and Model 3 Carbon Fiber Spoiler.

Model S and Model X HEPA Air Filtration Upgrade.
Within the Tesla app, upon completing checkout for service-installed vehicle accessories, you’ll be prompted to schedule a service appointment for installation. If your service-installed vehicle accessories are delayed, you will be notified via the Tesla app and your service visit will be rescheduled.

To schedule your installation appointment, follow the steps below:

Open the Tesla app.

Tap 'Service.'

Tap ‘Request Service.’

Tap ‘Upgrades & Accessories.’

Select ‘Accessory Installation.’

In the text field that follows, include your order number and a brief description of the accessory you would like to have installed.

Tap ‘Request Service’ to finalize the appointment.
The build date for your Tesla vehicle is shown on the vehicle certification label located on the driver’s side door pillar. This label is visible when the door is open.
No. Only one VIN can be selected at a time when purchasing multiple service-installed vehicle accessories. If you own multiple Tesla vehicles, you will need to place a separate order for each vehicle.
If the order is not yet actioned by our distribution center, it may be possible to cancel the order. To verify eligibility for cancelation, visit the Order History section of your Tesla Account. From there, select the order containing the service installed accessory you wish to cancel. If the item(s) are eligible for cancelation, the option will be presented beneath the order total. If the item(s) are ineligible for cancelation or return, then neither option will be shown.

Most direct-ship accessories will include a link in the product detail page with installation instructions, or physical instructions will be included with the package.
