Previous Referral Program

If you are interested in participating in the current Refer and Earn program, share your referral link with your friends or purchase a qualifying Tesla product through a friend’s referral link.

Note: The following information on the previous referral program is for general reference and does not include every iteration of the Terms and Conditions that were applied.

The Refer and Earn program from March 27, 2023 to April 30, 2024 allowed customers to earn benefits by making their first Tesla product purchase, referring other first-time customers and continuing to purchase qualifying Tesla products. Available offers varied throughout the program.

All referral orders of Model S, Model X and Model 3 placed between October 1, 2019 and September 17, 2021 with an active referral link were eligible for the previous referral benefits. Orders of Cybertruck and Certified Pre-Owned Tesla vehicles were not eligible.

Free Supercharging miles earned as a Referral award can be used by any vehicles on the same account and will expire 6 months after the miles are added. If all mileage on an account is used before expiration, the expiration date for the next referral is reset to 6 months.

The customer must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for benefits. Referral awards are non-transferable or redeemable for cash. The customer is responsible for all taxes and local requirements and fees. Program and awards are conditional on and subject to local laws and regulations.

Neither the referrer nor the buyer may be a customer-facing employee, legal representative or partner of Tesla or any Affiliate of Tesla. Nothing in the Referral Program shall be deemed to create any kind of relationship between the referrer and Tesla or any of Tesla’s Affiliates. The referrer has no authority to represent or bind Tesla. Terms and conditions are subject to change.
