Destination Charging Support

For Tesla vehicle owners, your vehicle touchscreen can help you locate a Destination Charging site while you’re on the road. Once you have selected a site, your vehicle’s navigation will automatically route you to the entrance of the property.

For owners driving other electric vehicles, select ‘Charge Your EV’ on the Tesla app and you can find Destination Charging sites.

Prices are shown by tapping on the site’s pin on your Tesla vehicle touchscreen or the Tesla app. When your charging session is complete, an estimate of the final charges is shown on the screen. To view your final invoices in the Tesla app, follow these steps:

1. Open the Tesla app.
2. Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner.
3. Tap ‘Charging.’
4. Tap ‘History.’

Prices may change from time to time. All prices include taxes and fees.

In Hong Kong, customers are billed per kWh (kilowatt-hour).

Payment is automatically processed from the payment method in your Tesla Account.

For Tesla vehicle owners, make sure a valid credit card is linked to your Tesla Account. Simply plug the charging connector into your vehicle charge port. The charge port LED will flash green once charging has begun.

For owners driving other EVs, follow these steps:

1. Download the Tesla app (version 4.33 or higher) for iOS or Android and create a Tesla Account.
2. Select ‘Charge Your EV’ and find your Destination Charging site.
3. Add your payment method, plug in your vehicle, find the QR Code on the left body of the charger and scan.
4. Select ‘Stop Charging’ to complete your session.

Currently, no idle fee is applied to Destination Charging. We will keep monitoring the situation and introduce idle fees in the future for selected sites.
