As your main point of contact, your leasing company will provide you with the next steps and relevant updates.
Once we verify your order with your leasing company and have all approvals in place, you will receive an SMS confirming your scheduled delivery date which is in line with your lease return date or contract start date.
You can contact your leasing company to request changes to your configuration so they can requote and revise your existing order.
Note: Changes to your configuration may impact your anticipated delivery date.
To cancel your order, contact your leasing company.
Inform your leasing company of your existing order and provide them with the Reservation Number (RN). This will preserve your Reservation Number to avoid order cancellation. Once we verify all details with your leasing company and transfer your order to your leasing company we will return your deposit.
You will receive your deposit within 10 working days after your order has been transferred.
Your estimated delivery date will be visible in the Tesla app. This date provided is an estimation only and is subject to vehicle availability and the readiness of your order with your leasing company.
Find updates on your order in the Tesla app. If you have further questions or concerns about your estimated delivery date, contact your leasing company.
Our main method of communication will be through SMS. Make sure to provide your leasing company with your current mobile number.
We will update you through SMS to arrange a delivery or collection of your vehicle. Important information such as your vehicle configuration and registration details, along with any reminders or requirements will also be communicated through SMS throughout the order process.
Note: If you have not received any SMS updates within seven days of placing an order with your leasing company, contact your leasing company to confirm that your mobile number is correct.
You will receive both your VIN and registration details through SMS and through the Tesla app prior to your delivery.
Reach out to your leasing company to learn about their policy for maintaining plate numbers.
Note: All Tesla vehicles are delivered on their age-related license plate.
As leasing companies, and not the drivers, are the legal owners of company vehicles, the V5c will be sent out to the leasing company by the DVLA once the vehicle delivery is complete. If you require a copy of this for any parking permits, reach out to the leasing company.
Once your leasing company has confirmed to Tesla that they can arrange for taking delivery of the vehicle, you will receive an SMS confirming your scheduled delivery date.
Follow the SMS instructions and reply to confirm your attendance to avoid your delivery date being postponed or cancelled.
Make sure that you are present at your delivery address during the agreed-upon delivery window. If you are collecting your vehicle from one of our delivery locations, ensure that you arrive during your collection appointment slot.
Note: Taking deliveries requires you to have a valid driver's license with you as a form of identification.
If you wish to designate someone else to collect on your behalf, contact the Customer Support team and your leasing company. The person you designate must have a valid driver’s license.
Respond to your most recent SMS from Tesla if you need to make any changes to your scheduled delivery date or delivery location, or contact our Customer Support team.
Deliveries will be made to the address which was provided by your leasing company at the time of the order being placed. If the delivery address requires changing, a collection can be organized from our delivery location.
If you need to delay the delivery or collection date, you may be able to select a new date and time within seven days of your original scheduled delivery date, subject to availability.
The delivery declaration confirms that your new Tesla vehicle has been delivered and matches the configuration which you have ordered.
The delivery declaration will be listed as a task to complete in the Tesla app. To complete the task, you will have to accept delivery in the Tesla app. Upon completion of the task, you will gain full access to the Tesla app and your vehicle.

If your vehicle requires service, we strongly recommend that you schedule a service appointment in the Tesla app at a Tesla Service Center. Taking your vehicle to another shop for maintenance or repairs could affect coverage under your warranty if problems occur. Review your Owner’s Manual for more information on service intervals.

If you don't have an active key card for your leased Tesla vehicle, you will need to schedule a service appointment to have a new key card paired.
Check with your leasing company and, if applicable, your Corporate Fleet Manager for permission to modify the vehicle with an upgrade.
You can then request installation of the upgrade by scheduling a service appointment in the Tesla app. Select ‘Accessory Installation & Upgrades’ as the topic and detail which upgrade you would like to purchase.
After receiving and accepting a quote for the upgrade from the Tesla app, complete payment to activate your remote upgrade from anywhere.
