Data We’ll Never Share

Tesla never sells or rents your data to third-party companies. This includes your personal data and driving history. We only share information about you, your products or how you use them with your approval.

Data We Collect

While we periodically review anonymous data from our global fleet, this data is not linked to you or your vehicle. VIN-associated data is only collected for remote diagnostics, for service or during a critical safety event. Review your settings or request a copy of your data any time by submitting a Data Privacy Request. 

Data You Keep

Our advanced security features are designed with your privacy in mind. Tesla’s Privacy From Day One commitment ensures camera recordings from Sentry Mode and Dashcam are processed and saved in your vehicle or an external device, never on Tesla’s servers.
