What to Expect

As a Business Planning and Operations – Program Manager, you will be a strategic partner of the sales team and the go-to-person for all operational stakeholders, you will manage the order pipeline from booking to delivery and revenue recognition.

Develops strategic market/product line business plans and programs to support sales in designated market segments; identifies volume and strategic customers; and develops partnerships. Analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities; develops strategic direction from market information and creates compelling market analysis presentations.  Conducts analysis for joint ventures, collaborative agreements, and licensing opportunities.

Develops information on budget status, workforce level, equipment availability, and other company capabilities. Conducts analyses and reporting in support of general business operations and planning activities. Gathers, organizes and reviews operational data. Develops and delivers both informational and decision-seeking reports, analyses and/or presentations. Stays abreast of organization and function operations and gains familiarity with company practices relevant to metrics, performance indicators, reporting protocols, etc. Extrapolates and complies analyses for use in reports or presentations. May participates on project teams, providing analytical support to achieve project objectives.

Applies broad knowledge of company product capabilities and service offerings with in-depth analysis of market position to create and expand the portfolio of products and solution alternatives.

Uses technical expertise and extensive industry experience to formulate product strategies and identify new product opportunities. Responsible for developing project plans designed to address customer needs and/or expand market share.

Work closely with regional and national level functional leaders  – sales, delvery, service and borader support functions – to deliver results and improve performance.

What You’ll Do
  • Daily execution and coordination of all operational aspects of vehicle orders and deliveries, including new orders, backlog management, sales order delivery, and revenue recognition. 
  • Responds to general order-related inquiries from different departments throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Delivery teams to continue to develop and streamline the sales pipeline management.
  • Ensures quality of data in the different systems like SMP, Warp, AX, TMS, collections, etc. 
  • Investigates system discrepancies quickly and finalizes solutions.
  • Assist with special projects and data analysis as needed.
  • Participates in testing of new and updated system logic and procedures. 

What You’ll Bring
  • 7-10 years of experience working in dynamic operational role and/or a top tier management consulting firm.
  • MBA from a Tier 1 Business school.
  • Automotive/Electric Vehicle/Consumer Electronics industry knowledge would be preferred.
  • Technological fluency and ability to operate within internal business systems and MS Office with excellent skills in MS Excel, Power BI or Tableau.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative cross-functional relationships. 
  • Self-starter who is goal-oriented, highly motivated and able to follow instructions.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Strong desire to take initiative, eager to learn, result-oriented and creative thinker 
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, multitask and prioritize appropriately, organizing tasks and processes, and tracking findings and deliverables.
