Charging for All
Expanding Charging Access
To accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy, we are making it as easy as possible for drivers to own and charge an electric vehicle (EV). That’s why we’re opening our fast-charging network to allow more EV drivers to charge at over 15,000 Supercharging stalls across North America. And with approximately one new stall opening every hour, we’re just getting started.
Superchargers make up three out of four fast chargers and have set the standard for EV charging in North America. This standard, known as the North American Charging Standard (NACS), has been adopted by all large automakers, with manufacturers and charge point operators transitioning to the NACS by 2025.

Optimized Design
No moving parts and designed to be as lightweight, compact and efficient as possible.
Fast Charging
Charge from AC or DC power sources with one connector and at the fastest charging speeds.
Reliable Performance
Developed from over 20 billion miles of charging, the performance and safety of the NACS design has been pressure tested and proven.
Throughout 2024 and 2025, our North American Supercharging network is opening to more automakers. As automakers transition vehicles to NACS, EV drivers will gradually be able to access Superchargers using adapters provided by their automakers. Soon, all new EVs will come with NACS charge ports built in and adapters will no longer be needed.
If you do not yet have access, your automaker may be joining our network soon. For more information, review our FAQs page or check with your automaker.
